Culinary Archives
A public database partnered with The Oxford Symposium on Food and Cookery. The Sifter is formatted similar to Wikipedia and takes entries from users in any language. Included are printed and manuscript coobooks, periodicals, and writings on cooking and eating. This is not limited exclusively to cookbooks. Texts on architecture, medicine, ediquette, agriculture etc. are also featured.
A collection of community cookbooks from the Science and Technology section of the library of congress. Originally created in 2009, the guide continues to grow as more community textbooks are digitized by the library. The archive is organized both by time and place, but only features cookbooks from the United States published between 1860 and 1929.

A collection of over 45,000 menus dating back to the 1840s archived by New York Public Library. Originally launched in 2011 as the NY Public Library's first API, the page was retired in 2025 due to technological issues. However, the digitized collection can still be found in the library's archive at the link above.
